Welcome all to The Paleo Secret! Our hope and desire of this blog is to pass on all the practical knowledge, life lessons and positive, healing energy we have collected along our personal health journeys.  We both share a passion for helping others get healthy and unlock their true potential. After all, we were all designed for vibrant, optimal health and each and every one of us deserves it!  Our intention is to help people on their own journeys obtain or regain optimal health and live a more balanced, peaceful and fulfilling life.

We’ve come to view health from an eating, moving and thinking perspective and will be sharing what we have learned and continue to learn on this blog. In our personal lives, as well as in our professional lives as physical therapists we have witnessed chronic pain, disease and much suffering.  It is our belief that the large part of human suffering is environmental, within our control and absolutely unnecessary.

What we are being told and conditioned to believe from conventional thinking in regards to our health and WAY of living is ultimately not sustainable for the individual or our species and needs to change.  We cannot solve the problems we face with the same type of thinking that caused those problems.  We need a complete paradigm shift in our way of thinking.

We are at the beginning stages of such a shift in which people are waking up from old repetitive mind patterns and taking back their true radiant health…which is everyone’s birthright.   We have lost touch with our true selves in terms of how we were meant to eat, move, and think. We have forgotten our connection with nature and the world around us.  We intend to be a catalyst to this change and share our knowledge on eating, moving and thinking so that this information may help you experience all that life has to offer.

I tried to get your free beginners guide and when I try to submit it says that my e-mail is on a supression list. Can you tell me what that is and why

    • Andi Petty says:

Hi Sara! That means you unsubscribed at some point. When you unsubscribe, it is made clear that you will no longer be eligible to receive anything from us. You can try a different email address or contact us at and we will manually send you what you’re trying to get 🙂

  5. How do I get to be a member or receive your newsletters?

    Sheila (:

  6. Kathy says:

I am gluten free and mostly dairy free. Will there be foods and recipes for me on the 30 day challenge?

    • Andi Petty says:

Hi Kathy! The Paleo diet focuses on whole, real food consisting of primarily grass-fed meats, pastures eggs, wild-caught fish (or the highest quality animal proteins you can source), veggies, fruits, nuts/seeds and quality fats. This way of eating excludes processed food, sugar, grains, legumes, milk, cheese and toxic vegetables oils (canola oil, soybean, etc). So – yes! 🙂
