Today I reached my 30th day of the 30-Day challenge.
It was a milestone I was waiting for, but now I realize nothing has to change moving forward. I will continue eating Paleo and incorporate it into my lifestyle.
I did not start the program with weight loss in mind but I did lose a total of 4.5 lbs. My goal was to rid myself of feeling so tired and drained every day. I used to need 2-3 hour naps every afternoon in addition to 7-8 hours at night.
Before the challenge, my physician told me that I was Pre-Diabetic. In addition, I have been having digestive issues for a number of years. I was taking prescription drugs as well as over-the-counter medications to keep my heartburn under control.
I am happy to report that I now no longer need my daily naps and my acid reflux and heartburn issues have been resolved. I am sleeping flat in my bed, and no longer taking the medication. My Blood sugar has dropped from 126 to 98.
I am feeling calmer, more in control and not as overwhelmed.
I want to thank Chad and Brenda for all their help in teaching me some new facts about food, and their daily encouragement to stick with it.
