Hi! My name is Cindy and I am a 51 year old who has been slowly gaining weight over the last decade.
I’ve never had self control in the area of food, and my eating habits were worse than I knew. At 5’3, I weighed 150lbs, and all of my clothes were tight, even in my new size 8’s.
I drank lots of coffee with lots of sugar, and ate lots of bad carbs, and drank too much alcohol.
My life as a newly divorced ER Nurse was very stressful, so I justified my over eating and drinking. After a 12 hour shift, I would come home and drink several drinks and eat lots of bad, fatty junk food.
I am shocked at how easy this diet has been and it makes sense to only eat what God made for us to eat-meats,fruits and veggies!
I have learned to drink black coffee, I don’t have any processed foods or sugars in the house. I love my green smoothies at night after work and I don’t keep alcohol in the house.
I have had a couple drinks when I go out and I eat good foods and even have cheated on several occasions. But… I have easily lost 13 lbs and am keeping it off by making this diet my new normal.
