Whitman Paleo Hot Wings (GF/Paleo)

Delicious Hot Wings recipe for your Super Bowl party this weekend!!!
We had a little football gathering the other night and our friends made a batch of their delicious wings. I wasn’t able to have any because of the nightshade content, but they looked and smelled amazing!  Chad easily ate about 20 I think! These wings will be a great appetizer for any upcoming Super Bowl parties! Serve and enjoy with Paleo Ranch dipping sauce for the optimal experience. We also had some sweet potato fries that were amazing dipped in the Paleo Ranch. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  •  25 chicken wing sections or drummettes
  • 1-  5 oz bottle of Frank’s Red Hot Original Hot Sauce (not Frank’s Wing Sauce… it has canola oil in it)
  • dried parsely
  • paprika
  • pepper
  • sea salt
  • garlic powder
  • 1/2 stick of pastured butter or 4 TBSP (melted)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place drumettes and/or wing sections on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Season each wing with sea salt, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika and dried parsley.
Bake for 45 minutes.
While wings are baking, prepare hot wing sauce.
Combine melted butter and Frank’s original hot sauce in a bowl and stir.
You could use your favorite hot sauce, but be careful about ingredients.
Avoid added sugar, industrial seed oils like canola oil and things you can’t pronounce.
When wings are finished baking, toss wings in hot sauce until evenly coated.
You could use a large glass bowl, place 1/2 the wings in and 1/2 the sauce, cover with lid and shake it up to coat wings evenly.
Place on a platter and do the 2nd half.
Enjoy with Paleo Ranch Dip from Sarah Fragoso’s book, Everyday Paleo Family Cookbook.

OMG these are the best!!! My husband doesn’t like “hot” so I got them all to myself. LOL The Paleo Ranch is also great. I used Primal Kitchen Mayo with Avocado Oil and it is wonderful too!
Thank you so much for all your recipes. I’m loving trying so many new things.
